THE ECO LUXE HOTEL

IMG_1653.jpeg

My final project at University involved designing a hotel that has a concept which is based on how we use different types of circular economy to create and ecological surrounding that will benefit the tourism industry within Brighton whilst still containing the elements of luxury.

The Eco Luxe Hotel was designed for the need to stop the wasteful way of hospitality. The use of circular economy and ecological systems including fish farms and shellfish rejuvenating methods restores marine life that has been affected due to climate change. This is an example within hospitality to provide a sustainable, circular economy approach which is the only way to create a positive impact for our planet we live on today.

The main elements of this design is the restaurant in the centre of the building that features suspended tanks containing recuperating marine life and the rooftop bar which contains the fish farm and hydroponic plants. Throughout the hotel are elements of up-cycled materials.
